Wayne Stevens is a Clinical Supervisor with over 30 years of experience in healthcare, currently serving within the Healing Hands Team. With a background in Nursing, Counselling and Men’s leadership Wayne combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, person-centred approach to Mental Health care.
In his supervisory role, Wayne provides guidance, mentorship, and emotional support to clinicians working in one of the most ethically complex and emotionally demanding areas of healthcare. He fosters reflective practice, promotes professional growth, and ensures that care is delivered with dignity, respect, and adherence to both legal and ethical frameworks.
Wayne’s leadership is grounded in a philosophy of compassionate accountability—believing that clinicians thrive when supported to reflect deeply, act ethically, and care courageously. He is committed to creating safe spaces for dialogue, learning, and emotional resilience, helping teams navigate the challenges of VAD with clarity and compassion.
