Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
What is it?
IEMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a psychotherapy that helps people heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences. It's a structured therapy that uses bilateral stimulation, often eye movements, to process traumatic memories and reduce their emotional impact. EMDR is used to treat conditions like PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related issues, and it's been shown to be effective in many cases.
